Ari Fleischer: "Smoke him out"
Monday night on Sean Hannity's program, former Bush White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer gave President Trump the best advice I've heard yet for tonight's debate. Fleischer said "most important thing to me, Sean, is 'smoke him out. That's Donald Trump's job. Force Joe Biden to state his positions on these great controversies where Joe Biden doesn't want to take a stand -- packing the Supreme Court, abolishing the Electoral College, how far left is he?"
My advice to President Trump is to simply tell people how he's improved their lives. The fastest path to that is by asking whether minorities are better off now that President Trump signed the First Step Act. Ask people if the Trump/GOP tax cuts left them with more money for vacations, saving for retirement or their kids' educations, or whether it helped them expand their small businesses. Then remind them that House and Senate Democrats voted unanimously against the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Then remind people that Joe Biden said he wants to totally repeal the Trump tax cuts:

That's Biden's own words. Force him to own those words. Next, force Biden to own this statement:

At that point, President Trump should ask Biden if he'll 'stand with AOC or if he'll stand with blue collar workers in Ohio and Pennsylvania. If Biden says that this is a distraction from Trump's handling of COVID, President Trump should say that it isn't a distraction to hundreds of thousands of blue collar workers in Ohio and Pennsylvania. To them, it's a matter of life-and-death.
Biden's Democrat Party is actually 2 parties. One part of the party identifies with blue collar workers. The other part of the party is socialists. They fit together like oil and water.

Ari Fleischer's debate advice, Part II
This morning on America's Newsroom, Ari Fleischer was asked what advice he'd give to both candidates. Fleischer said he was surprised to find out that the Biden campaign had requested 2 breaks during the debate, adding that he found that disturbing. (If a candidate can't handle standing on his feet for 90 minutes, why should people think he's physically fit enough for the job?)
As for Ari's advice for President Trump, it was 3 words and 6 specifics. The 3 words were "Smoke Biden out." I won't remember the six suggestions but I remember a few of them, starting with President Trump saying "I will veto any bill that packs the Court. Would you do the same, Joe?" Next, Fleischer suggested "I oppose defunding the cops. Will you commit to the same?" Third, Trump should say "I oppose giving drivers licenses to illegal aliens. Do you?" Fourth, Trump should say "I oppose sanctuary cities. Do you?" Fifth, Trump should say "Hillary proposed $2,000,000,000,000 in tax hikes. I was opposed to that. You want to raise taxes by twice that amount. Why?" Finally, Trump should say that he's for energy independence and fracking, then ask Biden "Are you?"

Thus far, Biden hasn't answered sensitive questions. He's put together a coalition of polar opposites. The AOC wing opposes fracking but supports sanctuary cities and open borders. Open borders don't play well in the battleground states. Neither does the green agenda, especially in Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Debate highlights & lowlights
Nick Arama's article highlighted just how fast President Trump was last night. While it's easy to see last night's debate as a food-fight, the truth is that President Trump was the substantive winner. Another thing that's obvious is that Joe Biden will pack the court in a New York minute , along with granting statehood to the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
One of the funniest lines of the night came when moderator Chris Wallace said "President Trump, you're holding large rallies... Vice President Biden, you are holding much smaller events." Even Wallace laughed when President Trump said "Because nobody will show up. It's true. Nobody shows up to his rallies."

Joe knew the attacks on Hunter were coming. Everyone expected that. Still, Joe didn't have an effective reply:

This won't help Biden, either:

Joe's own words: "That's why I'm going to eliminate the Trump tax cuts." The "Trump tax cuts" include middle class tax cuts. They didn't just cut taxes for corporations and capital gains. I'm not certain that Biden understands what he said. Still, this was the most devastating moment of the night for Biden:

Law enforcement unions have totally deserted the Biden-Harris ticket. Totally. This refutes something that Biden said:
And his running mate, @KamalaHarris, co-sponsored the legislation with AOC https://t.co/HfpI9JIdBE

Biden attempted to say that he didn't support AOC's Green New Deal. That tweet says otherwise.
