15 Years of Let Freedom Ring!

The Let Freedom Ring blog had a 15 year run until hackers and hosting issues finally ended its run in March 2021. This new static blog takes its place, re-publishing that robust collection of posts. As with any long-running blog, many of the links are no longer valid and a number of embedded images were lost. But the text is all here, with some minor editing as needed to be Blogger compatible. Almost all of the comments are also included. Each post here contains 1 to 9 original LFR posts, plus links to prior months that same year and all prior years. Click the year links below to get started. Or, use the Blogger search feature to find specific people and events. Again, this is up through March of 2021. It's mostly a bailout of Democrat special interest groups. This LTE provides a list of some of the pork in the bill: $85 billion for the rescue of about 180 multi-employer pensions plans insured by the Pension/Benefit Guaranty Corp managed by employer sponsors and unions. $30 billion for publi

In the article, she writes about how Lena Carson went from being a talented student to a kid on the brink of failing. She wrote "One year ago, Lena Carson was pulling straight A's at the city's Creative and Performing Arts School across the river from her parent's home. She also swam every day at the local YMCA in preparation to compete at the annual state competition and enjoyed the everyday social life of a teenager. Today, she is sitting at home. Again."
