Ilhan Omar's privilege
Democrats these days insist that white privilege is altogether too real. Further, Democrats insist that white privilege is dangerous to civilized society. Why hasn't the MSM, aka the Agenda Media, written about leftist privilege? Is it because the MSM's goal is to provide cover for leftists? Is it because the MSM is well to the left of Rust Belt Democrats?
It's disgusting that the Twin Cities media treats Rep. Omar with kid gloves. In fact, they treat her better than Hindus treat sacred cows. How else can you explain what's in this article ? I find it more than a little ironic to notice that a blogger and a writer for a conservative website outperformed the supposedly well-staffed media outlet (I won't call the Star Tribune a newspaper just like I won't call WCCO-TV a news station.) Star Tribune. Powerline's Scott Johnson and Pajama Media's David Steinberg simply ate the Strib's lunch. In fact, they did that pretty much on a daily basis. Let's get into what the Twin Cities media either missed or, more likely, omitted from their articles.
Reporters Preya Samsundar of AlphaNewsMN , Scott Johnson of Powerline , myself , and virtually no one else attempted to sway the most influential media decision on Omar: that of Minnesota's largest outlet, the Star Tribune. In addition to our many published articles, the Star Tribune received calls and emails from us offering to privately share additional leads we had gathered.
This isn't surprising but it's definitely appalling:
the Star Tribune received calls and emails from us offering to privately share additional leads we had gathered.
Forget the notion of the Strib being a news-gathering organization. Let's call them what they truly are -- the propaganda operation of the DFL. In addition to not reporting about Rep. Omar's indiscretions, where were they on reporting about the child care fraud scandal that's gripping the Department of Human Services? Nowhere to be found, as near as I can tell.
After the 2:00 mark of this video, check out the things said by Omar's constituents:
Those are the faces of the loony left. This might explain why hardline progressives get a virtual free pass with the MSM. The thought that the Trump administration is building a militia is delusional. Unfortunately, Omar's constituents think that it's virtually certain. Being free from meaningful media scrutiny is a better privilege than white privilege.

Is immigration a losing issue for Democrats?
Based on the contents of this article , it's pretty clear that AOC and Democrat presidential candidates are helping Republicans win the fight on immigration. Democrats thinking that they can just pander to the immigration extremists are kidding themselves.
AOC calling CBP detention centers "concentration camps" was the first step in helping Democrats lose the fight on immigration. AOC vehemently insisting that CBP agents had told women to drink out of toilets poisoned the conversation even more. (Nobody except the extreme far left believed her.) The tipping point, though, came when each of the Democrat presidential candidates said that the US should give illegal aliens free health care. Check out what one Michigan focus group said on the matter:
They grew animated on the subject of 2020 Democrats offering free health care to illegal immigrants. 'Why would you want to give it to another person from a different country for free?' Larry S. asked. 'Give them free benefits, this that and the other thing. That is ridiculous,' said Rhonda H. 'We need to focus on Americans and not the immigrants,' said Paul T.
That's music to President Trump's ears. If Democrats continue ignoring the American people, they'll hand Trump a re-election victory on a silver platter. This is what happens when spineless Democrats try to out-left each other.
The Democrats' biggest problem is that they're forced into thoroughly unpopular positions by the Resist Movement. Resist is vehemently opposed to Trump victories of any sort. When Democrats follow Resist's script, they lose. It's that simple.
The joke about Resist these days is that if President Trump cured cancer, Resist would issue a statement complaining that he'd put oncologists on unemployment. Nothing positive can be seen as a victory for President Trump, apparently. How sad.
AOC needs a new dictionary, too. Here's the real definition for concentration camps :
A place for assembling and confining political prisoners and enemies of a nation. Concentration camps are particularly associated with the rule of the Nazis in Germany, who used them to confine millions of Jews (see also Jews) as a group to be purged from the German nation. Communists, Gypsies, homosexuals, and other persons considered undesirable according to Nazi principles, or who opposed the government, were also placed in concentration camps and eventually executed in large groups. (See Holocaust.)
What part of that definition sounds even remotely like what's happening in these detention centers? Answer: nothing.
Democrats are hitching their wagon to AOC much like they hitched their wagon to another loser 18 years ago. That loser's name was Hillary Clinton. Why don't Democrats learn?

Omar's utterly warped thinking
It's difficult to characterize Rep. Ilhan Omar's thought process as coherent. This week, Omar introduced another anti-Semitic resolution . It isn't surprising that Rep. Omar's resolution is filled with faulty 'thinking', if you can call it thinking.
The resolution seeks to justify the anti-Semitic BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) Movement. The resolution highlights the boycotts against Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union and Apartheid South Africa. What this has to do with Israel is anyone's guess. It isn't known whether that's part of Rep. Omar's thinking or whether she's just that filled with anti-Semitism. I suspect the latter. In this video, Rep. Omar compares the BDS Movement to the Boston Tea Party:
This is what a warped mind looks like. Frankly, it's a frightening thing to see. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. It's surrounded by nations that wish it didn't exist. What does that have to do with Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union or apartheid South Africa?
Frankly, if Democrats want to keep supporting Rep. Omar, that's their decision. If that's what Democrats decide, then Democrats should expect to lose their majority in the House in 2020.
Some insiders in the Democratic Party think that Rep. Omar is part of the 'Shake things up' wing of the party. Others think that she's from the growing Anti-Semitism wing of the Democratic Party. Personally, I think she's part of the growing 'Spit-For-Brains, Can't Think Straight if her life depended on it' wing of the party. Rep. Omar is also part of the haters wing of the Democratic Party.
If this petition passes, expect the Democrats to pay a heavy political price for that decision in 2020. Finally, notice how halting Rep. Omar's presentation is. I wonder why it sounds like her heart isn't in it.

Schumer's priorities exposed
Chuck Schumer has tweeted that he's visited Texas. In this tweet, Sen. Schumer announces that he's in Texas with a group of Senate Democrats "to investigate, inspect, and evaluate conditions for migrants at facilities on the southern border."
We just landed in Texas. The conditions at the border for children and families have been inhumane. And I'm leading a delegation of @SenateDems to investigate, inspect, and evaluate conditions for migrants at facilities on the southern border. pic.twitter.com/mfn5ZSMKpx
- Chuck Schumer (@SenSchumer) July 19, 2019
In this tweet, Sen. Schumer said something that's undoubtedly true and another thing that I find impossible to believe:
The Acting Head of the Border Patrol @CBP just confirmed to me that the vast majority of migrants coming to the United States are NOT criminals.
These are human beings fleeing danger. They deserve to be treated humanely and with respect. pic.twitter.com/mo8zNZEUgX
- Chuck Schumer (@SenSchumer) July 19, 2019
I find it interesting that Sen. Schumer found it important to inform the world that "the vast majority of migrants coming to the United States are NOT criminals." It only took 19 people to commit 9/11. Ever since that day, I've been wary of rationalizations that essentially say 'the majority of people coming into the United States are good people.'
I don't buy the notion that these are people fleeing danger. I've seen too many interviews with Border Patrol agents or chiefs that tell a dramatically different story than the spin that Sen. Schumer's peddling. This video should be must viewing for people who want to get a true picture of what's happening:
The truth is that most of the people fleeing Central American countries are fleeing failed economies and corrupt governments. The fleeing danger line is vastly overblown. I don't know the figures off the top of my head but I'm betting that there are more criminals coming into through the southern border than there are people who get accepted as legitimate asylees.
One thing that comes through repeatedly is the line "These are human beings." Sen. Schumer used it repeatedly in his tweets. He didn't address the fact that these people were caught trying to get into the United States illegally. Sen. Schumer didn't mention the fact that Congress could fix this problem with legislation that closes immigration loopholes, fixes the Flores decision and that tightens our asylum laws.
Go back to Rep. Chip Roy's questioning of Kevin McAleenan. Specifically watch the part where Congressman Roy talks about fixing these problems with legislation that would fit onto "a single sheet of paper."
Sen. Schumer should be ashamed of himself. He spent the entire day telling us things that we already knew while ignoring his responsibility for not fixing this crisis. Do Democrats think that they shouldn't help fix this problem? Based on this tweet, Sen. Schumer apparently thinks that we don't need any rules governing immigration:
We have to treat families better than this. These are human beings, fleeing violence, seeking a better life in America. pic.twitter.com/T76uMtyXd6
- Chuck Schumer (@SenSchumer) July 19, 2019
In Sen. Schumer's world, all that matters is that people want to come here so we should let them in. How do they elect people this corrupt ? The next time you hear a Democrat tell you they care about border security, tell them that they're liars. Not once did Sen. Schumer mention fixing border security in his tweets. Not once in his tweets did he say that Democrats should help fix our nation's immigration laws. In this tweet, Sen. Schumer proposed new legislation:
The @SenateDems and I pushed Border Patrol leadership hard.
Overcrowding. Migrants without the help they need.
It doesn't have to be this way. These are decisions from the top of the Trump admin.
We must pass our bill to help end it - the Stop Cruelty to Migrant Children Act. pic.twitter.com/EP4cpKknd9
- Chuck Schumer (@SenSchumer) July 20, 2019
So much for prioritizing border security. It's now official. It's impossible to take Democrats seriously on immigration and border security.

Easy way to stop the "inhuman" conditions at the border is to send them all back to their country of origin. The illegals are not fleeing danger or crime in their country; they are coming here because they know no one will stop them as long as they ask for asylum. Sorry your country sucks but America doesn't need hundreds of thousands of unskilled workers, as we already have enough of our own sucking on the government teat. Close the borders to anyone and everyone until Congress either wants to uphold the laws or changes them.
Omar's Al-Jazeera spin
It isn't surprising that Ilhan Omar would grant Al-Jazeera this interview . While avoiding answering difficult questions at home, it's predictable that she'd sit down with an organization that's famous for their spin.
One of the topics they spun together was Omar's comments to CAIR about 9/11. That's when she said "some people did something." Notice how different her response is during her interview is:
Trump has made defamatory comments accusing her of praising al-Qaeda, and saying that she downplayed the 9/11 terror attacks .
Responding to Trump's accusations, Omar tells Al Jazeera: "Those [9/11] are horrific attacks. There's no question about it, that's not a debatable thing. Innocent Americans lost their lives that day, we all mourn their deaths...And I think it's quite disgusting that people even question that and want to debate that."
If Omar thinks that the 9/11 attacks are "horrific", then why did she spin it like it wasn't a big deal? When she said that 9/11 was about "some people did something", that's the ultimate in disrespect.
Further, in that speech, Omar said that "CAIR was founded after 9/11 because some people did something and all of us were starting to lose our civil liberties":
Notice the faux outrage on Rep. Omar's part. It's almost realistic. IF she hadn't lied about when CAIR was created and if she hadn't been so flippant about 9/11. Omar is quoted as saying 9/11 was horrific and that "we all mourn their deaths." If that's true, then act like you're actually grieving.
Naturally, AOC defended Omar :
Disapproving of Trump's remark, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said, "Members of Congress have a duty to respond to the president's explicit attack today. Ilhan Omar's life is in danger."
Remember that AOC isn't the most trustworthy person. She's the person who said that Border Patrol agents had told women to drink out of toilets. She pointed out that these women were first put in a room that didn't have running water. Trusting a pathological liar isn't the smartest decision. That's why I won't trust her. She's demolished her credibility.
More Omar Spin
"I always said it wasn't the question of whether he should be impeached, but when. And we are seeing now so many people are coming to that conclusion," she says. "This president said he didn't see any problem in having a foreign, hostile government [Russia] intervene in our elections. He didn't understand how that could be a problem ... We do not accept information that is going to change the trajectory of our elections, from hostile governments."
First, President Trump never said that it wasn't a big deal for Russia to intervene in our elections. It didn't happen.
Next, Rep. Omar, if that's her correct family name, said that "so many people are coming to that conclusion" about impeachment. Seriously? If that's the truth, why did Al Green's impeachment resolution get defeated 332-95? That's 22.2% of Congress reaching that conclusion.
It's worth reading the entire spin piece. It isn't particularly accurate but it's a picture of how dishonest Omar, if that's her real last name, is.

Democrats are so desperate right now that they want Michelle Obama to run. Even Rush Limbaugh admits that Michelle Obama would have the best chance in beating Trump. He also says that no other Democrat will be able to beat Trump.
Response 1.1 by Gary Gross at 21-Jul-19 03:30 AM
Michelle has the best chance but she's got virtually no chance. Her hatred of America is almost as terrible as Rep. Omar's hatred of Israel.
Building the Trump/RNC campaign operation
Anyone that watched President Trump's 2016 campaign know that it was a shoestring operation. That year's campaign doesn't resemble this year's campaign whatsoever. This article highlights in detail what the Trump-RNC alliance is doing:
Trump Victory, a joint operation comprised of the Trump campaign, the RNC and state Republican parties, kicked off a "National Week of Training" on Friday in a bid to train more than 6,000 volunteers and register voters in 14 states that Republicans have set their sights on for 2020.
Almost a month ago, Brad Parscale, President Trump's campaign manager, told Martha MacCallum that they were attempting to build a 2,000,000 person army for door-knocking and manning the phone banks. If they accomplish that goal, they'll be able to expand their targeted states by leaps and bounds.
Expanding Trump's map puts Democrats on the defensive. It's one thing if Democrats are just trying to flip Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan back into the blue column. It's another thing if they have to flip those states while putting precious resources into states like Minnesota, Colorado, Virginia and New Hampshire.
I don't doubt that Democrats will have a well-funded candidate. I'm skeptical, however, that they'll have a top-tier candidate to support. Each of these candidates is, more or less, a check-the-boxes candidate. Enthusiasm that's solely driven by hatred of the other party's candidate isn't unifying enough. That's enough to solidify the Democrats' base. It isn't nearly enough to attract independents.
It's difficult to picture any Democrat building the ground game that Trump's campaign has already built. In 2016, they were just learning. This time, Trump's campaign team has worked feverishly to build a muscular operation. Team Trump is already light years ahead of 2016. Watching this interview will give you a better understanding of the Trump campaign:

Durbin's open borders spin
Although it felt like fingernails running across a chalkboard, I still listened to Dick Durbin's spin about the Democrats' trip to the US-Mexico border. Durbin tweeted out a message that essentially said that Trump is a racist for enforcing US immigration laws. Specifically, Durbin said "Just got done with my trip to the southern border in McAllen, TX. Our immigration system is broken. You can't walk into these facilities, see these children, and believe that this situation is acceptable. America is better than this."
Like Sen. Schumer, Durbin didn't mention a thing about tightening the asylum laws, closing immigration loopholes or fixing the Flores decision. Neither man mentioned building a physical structure to funnel drug cartels or human traffickers into chokepoints. Everything these men said focused exclusively on the conditions for the children.
What these Democrats didn't talk about spoke louder than the things these Democrats did talk about. Here's Durbin's tweet:
Just got done with my trip to the southern border in McAllen, TX. Our immigration system is broken. You can't walk into these facilities, see these children, and believe that this situation is acceptable. America is better than this. pic.twitter.com/6NJG57Sz9n
- Senator Dick Durbin (@SenatorDurbin) July 19, 2019
What chutzpah from Sen. Durbin. President Trump first told Democrats that there was a crisis on the border before the midterm elections. Back then, Democrats called it a "manufactured crisis." CNN joined in to sing from the Democrats' spin hymnal. Ditto with MSNBC. Kirstjen Nielsen testified before Congress that Homeland Security was at a breaking point. The day after Christmas, 2018, she re-iterated that point in this article :
Declaring the U.S. immigration system had been "pushed to a breaking point by those who seek open borders," Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen on Wednesday ordered mandatory medical checks on all children under the age of 10 in U.S. custody and said she would send U.S. Coast Guard medical personnel to the border to help. Nielsen said she also planned to visit the border later this week to see "first-hand" how medical screenings were handled.
Apparently, Democrats didn't give a damn one way or the other about "the children." Apparently, Democrats didn't start caring until it reached a political tipping point. The Democrats' phony solution to everything that's happening on the border is nothing more than treating symptoms. Caring for children in custody is the right thing to do but that's treating a symptom. In this post , I noted Sen. Schumer's 'solution' to the border crisis:
We must pass our bill to help end it - the Stop Cruelty to Migrant Children Act.
I don't know who's worse between Sen. Schumer or Sen. Durbin. Neither of them paid attention to the crisis until a month ago. These Democrats ridiculed President Trump, who correctly identified the crisis months ago. Then again, Sen. Durbin has a history of criticizing law enforcement and the military. Here's an oldie but goodie :
A US senator has refused to apologize for comparing the actions of US soldiers at Guantanamo Bay to those of Nazis, while others have decried or defended the mandate and method used to hold prisoners there.
"If I read this to you and did not tell you that it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime - Pol Pot or others - that had no concern for human beings."
That's what Sen. Durbin said about our military guarding terrorists in Gitmo. That's what a Democrat dirtbag sounds like.
Don't mistake the Democrats' calls for helping the children as actual empathy. Always remember my old saying about Democrats. If you've forgotten, it goes like this: Democrats will always do the right thing : when it's the last option left.
That's the definition of a dirtbag politician.

Michelle Obama tweets about American greatness
Recently, Democrats have been peddling the line that diversity is what makes America great. Yesterday, former First Lady Michelle Obama tried peddling that BS on Twitter. I guess I've seen that spin one too many times.
Mrs. Obama tweeted "What truly makes our country great is its diversity. I've seen that beauty in so many ways over the years. Whether we are born here or seek refuge here, there's a place for us all. We must remember it's not my America or your America. It's our America." If diversity means illegal aliens and refugee ingrates, count me out. That isn't what makes us great as a nation.
Here's Mrs. Obama's tweet:
What truly makes our country great is its diversity. I've seen that beauty in so many ways over the years. Whether we are born here or seek refuge here, there's a place for us all. We must remember it's not my America or your America. It's our America.
- Michelle Obama (@MichelleObama) July 19, 2019
Diversity might be a net positive but that isn't automatic by any stretch. When Ilhan Omar makes her now-infamous anti-Semitic comments or Rashida Tlaib co-sponsors the anti-Israel BDS resolution that would destabilize Israel's economy, that isn't a positive.
What makes the US great is the Constitution that limits the government's authority over our lives. What makes the US great is capitalism, coupled with the rule of law. Finally, what makes the US great is our Judeo-Christian faith.

Diversity just for diversity's sake is not what makes America great. People from diverse countries/backgrounds that want to make America great and not just live in America for all the benefits, is what makes America great. Problem we have right now is that there are too many who want to live in America but not be Americans. We need to be the melting pot again, not the diversity pot.
DFL's anti-Trump spin
Friday night, Almanac's political panel included Republicans Brian McDaniel and Fritz Knaak and Democrats Javier Morillo-Alicea (from the SEIU) and Kenza Hadj-Moussa of TakeAction Minnesota. A healthy portion of the discussion centered on President Trump's statement at the rally in Greenville, NC, and whether he's an authoritarian. While nobody attempted to defend the chant that arose from the arena, Morillo-Alicea tried making the point that Lindsey Graham's statement the next day, to Mr. Alicea, smacked of "authoritarianism."
During the discussion, Kenza Hadj- Moussa insisted that Rep. Omar, if that's her real name, has a message "of hope." That sounds like the statement that TakeAction Minnesota issued on Rep. Omar's behalf. In that statement, here's what they said, in part:
Either we stand together with unbreakable solidarity across race, class, gender and geography, and rise up to meet the challenges we all face. Or we allow hatred and cruelty to win the day.
Silence isn't an option. We choose love, courage, and solidarity. Like Congresswoman Omar.
When Rep. Omar co-sponsors a resolution that would significantly hurt the Jewish people, is that an example of loving one's neighbors? When she makes one anti-Semitic remark after another, is that another example of loving one's neighbors? When she belongs to a group of women that accuses Nancy Pelosi of being a racist, I'm fairly certain we're talking about bigoted people. Bigots aren't capable of being loving, courageous people. TakeAction Minnesota's statement is more myth than factual.
You can watch all of the DFL's ridiculous statements in this video:
I was surprised beyond belief that Javier Morillo-Alicea accused Lindsey Graham of speaking like an authoritarian. That isn't a stretch. That's just outright BS.
Finally, TakeAction Minnesota organized Friday's staged triumphal rally for Omar. The Twin Cities media covered it like it was spontaneous. It was staged. Go figure.

Maybe Ms. Omar should listen to what her supporters are saying to keep her butt out of trouble instead of trying to pass BDS legislation.
If the MSM would do their job and investigate the claims against Ms. Omar, there'd be no reason to chant "send her home" because the laws of the US would kick her out of the country for her alleged illegal activities. If the DFL had any decency, they'd kick her out of the party just for the proven tax fraud. The ends always justify the means for the left though.
