The Oppressor in Chief Cries Foul
It must've felt surreal for the oppressed students at Amir Kabir University to hear Mahmoud Ahmadinejad call the students oppressors. As strange as it seems, that's exactly what happened, according to this article.
Ahmadinejad responded by describing those students chanting the slogans as an "oppressive" minority. "A small number of people who claim there is oppression are creating oppression and do not let the majority hear (my) words," he said. According to the student news agency ISNA, Ahmadinejad responded to the students' chants of "students can die but they do not accept degradation" by lashing out at the United States. "Today, the worst type of dictatorship in the world is the American dictatorship which has been clothed in human rights," he said. "Our students are free and they fight and die but do not accept the foreigners' missions or bend to them," he added.The ISG would do well to remember that the people in Iran, Saddam's Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia & Syria think of their governments as the oppressors. They view Americans as liberators to a degree, though that doesn't mean they like us staying a long time. Michael Ledeen's book The War Against the Terror Masters: Why It Happened. Where We Are Now. How We'll Win. talks extensively how to foment insurrection against the Iranian mullahs. Mr. Ledeen has long been an advocate of covert operations that foment unrest and supplying arms to the Iranian students.
"It is my honour to burn for the sake of the nation's ideals and defend the system," Ahmadinejad was quoted as telling protesters who set fire his picture, ISNA said. "Americans must know that even if Ahmadinejad's body is burnt a thousand times for this purpose, Ahmadinejad will not retreat even a centimetre from these ideals." The Iranian president's speech was also interrupted by firecrackers, ISNA said.
Last Tuesday, I wrote about Fr. Ken Joseph's columns from Iraq and about his conversion from peace activist and human shield to admitting that he was wrong about trying to prevent the Iraq war.
The moral to this story is that the governments that were in place during Baker's time as Secretary of State were the oppressors. President Bush used 9/11 to establish a new group of democratically elected regimes as a longterm solution to the tyrannical rule of the region's oppressors. The people that would qualify as oppressors includes Syria's Bashar al-Assad, Egypt's Hosni Mubarak, Iran's Ahmadinejad and Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah.

Katherine Kersten vs. the 'See No Evil Gang'
Katherine Kersten's reporting on the 'Flying Imam Fiasco' has been one of the few bright spots for the Strib in ages. Consider her latest article, titled " Suspicion about Imams Grows as Terror Links Pile Up ".
As usual, Ms. Kersten pulled together a wealth of information from a ton of different sources to give her readers as much pertinent facts as possible. Here's a sampling of that information:
The Council on American-Islamic Relations, the imams' legal representative, is an organization that "we know has ties to terrorism," Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., said in 2003. And the Muslim American Society, which is also supporting the imams? It's the American arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, according to the Chicago Tribune, which called it "the world's most influential Islamic fundamentalist group."So her readers appreciated this information, right? To be fair, many did. Others, however, simply chose to not put the pieces of the puzzle together. To put it in 9/11 Commission terms, the people who didn't want to learn didn't connect the dots. That's because they don't want to connect the dots if the information is coming from anyone remotely close to being a conservative. That's why I'm giving them a nickname that fits their mindset: the 'See No Evil Gang'. Here's a sampling of what some of these 'gangsters' said:
How about Omar Shahin, the imams' spokesman and also president of the North American Imams Federation? He is a native of Jordan, who says he became a U.S. citizen in 2003. From 2000 to 2003, Shahin served as president of Islamic Center of Tucson (ICT), that city's largest mosque. The ICT is well known. The mosque has "an extensive history of terror links," according to terrorism expert Steven Emerson, who testified about terrorist financing before the Senate Banking Committee in July 2005.

In this country we need to hammer out where the line falls between our freedom and our safety. It's a debate with valid points all around. Treating it as a black-and-white, no grey area topic, as KK and my new congressman seem intent to do, does nothing to enhance freedom or security and in fact endangers them both.

I am very sad because I am agreeing with yet another one of this generally hateful woman's columns.
The point to all this is that, though we're living in a post 9/11 world, many people refuse to even look at the information. Many of the commenters chose to immediately descend into name-calling; others said that Katherine Kersten and the posters who agreed with her were trying to smear people by playing the "guilt by association game". That last one got me laughing. If a group of imams are part of the same mosque and they've met known terrorists like Hani Hanjour, who was one of the 9/11 hijackers, and whose mosque was built by funds provided by ISNA, the Saudi version of the Muslim Brotherhood, reasonable people might conclude that, given the amount of 'smoke' that's there, there's also fire.
To the 'See no Evil Gang', though, this is just the latest conservative conspiracy theory.

The Trees Are Restored
According to this AP article, SeaTac Airport has restored the Christmas trees in an obvious sign of the amount of public outcry had its desired effect. Somewhere, John Gibson and Bill O'Reilly are smiling.
Christmas trees are going back up at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Pat Davis, president of the Port of Seattle commission, which directs airport operations, said late Monday that maintenance staff would restore the 14 plastic holiday trees, festooned with red ribbons and bows, that were removed over the weekend because of a rabbi's complaint that holiday decor did not include a menorah.Please understand that I'm glad that the trees have been restored to their original locations because it's a loss for the ACLU and their PC police. Still, I'm dismayed that reporter Gene Johnson chose to call the trees "holiday trees." In other words, Johnson and the AP are more PC than even the Seattle Airport is.
"Given that, the holiday trees will be replaced as quickly as possible," he said. Davis added that the rabbi "never asked us to remove the trees; it was the port's decision based on what we knew at the time."This is what's commonly refered to as CYA. The airport manager made a boneheaded decision and now he's saying that he made the decision because he thought they might get sued. Why couldn't he just say that he overreacted and that he's making things right? Here's my favorite part of the article:

Customer service agents with Frontier Airlines pooled their money Monday morning to buy four 1-foot-high Christmas trees, which they placed on the airline's ticketing counter. Atop a Delta counter, workers put up a tree several feet tall.Chalk this up to the airport employees' unwillingness to let the PC police have the final say in the matter and to show that someone in the airport makes decisions based on common sense.

Children who go up before puberty are candidates to remain the most superior of all life forms::The asexual. Expect these people to experience subsequent temptations once they arrive to further shrink the pool of candidates. I think these are the TRUE candidates for immortality. This is not to say there won't be sexualized people who make it, but those who do likely practice minimally and monogamously in the context of marriage, and that would exclude most if not all from modern society.

Other "open doors" are specific to each individual. People shouldn't be watching movies, TV, listening to music. When they do the gods use the themes and topics presented therein and instruct Artificial Intelligence to create pathologies around them. Also they put forth intimate situations people SHOUDN'T be viewing. As is gossip-mongering, this is preditory on women and compells them to incurr evil.
If you are particularly intelligent, strong or very good at an (competitive) activity they will instruct Artificial Intelligence to create an overconfidence that will hurt you.
Differentiate between your thoughts and when they push thoughts. Recognize when they are employing "magic":::Peaked euphoria is the fuel of dysfunction and can help you identify these "open doors" in your life.
Abandon your preoccupations and make this the only thing that matters in your life, for all other things in society are lies designed as temptation.
ANYTIME you feel "peaked", experience craving or ANY thought disturbance where you want or like something irrationally IT IS THEM TRYING TO HURT YOU!!!!!! "Magic" is used EXCLUSIVELY to hurt the disfavored; it is the fuel of disfunction::::::addiction, homosexuality, crack babies.

There are subtle (sub)conscious tactics they can employ with the computer to make you think as if you are cooperating when they really are pushing you into your offense. It is important that you differentiate between your thoughts and when they think through you.

As young people get older and continue to make mistakes the gods apply personality-forming charecteristics, and people fail to differentiate between their own thoughts and when the gods are thinking through them. As a result they become abusive, abrasive, demonic, any number of negative personality characterisitcs, and then lie to them, tell them they're "earning".
This is designed to keep people going in the wrong direction for a lengthy period of time.
My adivce is look to the long term goal of fixing your problems and differentiating between your thoughts and when they're thinking through you but begin by addressing this issue of "peaked euphoria" right now.

1. Women are indifferent towards sex as a clue to stay away from damaging behavior. Women who have sexual impulses do because of hypersexual behavior in their youth or indicitive of their failure to ascend:::They have been masculinized. Because they are the gender with favor this asexual tactic is recurring, designed to protect them from destructive behavior.
2. Deep down every child knows why the gods like girls better. They see it every day on the playground:::The girls are kind, considerate and thoughtful while the boys are engaging in roughhouse and intentionally hurting each other.
If you can recognize these subtle ways the gods communicate positive things then you may pick up on the other clues and ultimately will ignore their overt negative temptations.
It is best to not understand the gods and how they conduct business. If people understood the depth of wickedness and evil the gods have inflicted on the people they will use this knowledge and instruct Artificial Intelligence to push it into their consciousness and progress will be even more difficult.
This is going to be a MASSIVE open door, one which will ensure 80% if not 90% of the disfavored from this horrific era are eliminated, for the gods don't want people up there who think they are monsters.
Children don't need this information. They just need to be taught the right way to live so they can ascend as young as possible. But this necessitates positive moral guidance by the parents, and as corrupt as people are today this is the exception rather than the norm. Reprioritize and eliminate non-crucial obligations.
People's friends and family will be used to create temptations, instill hurdles, prevent the candidate from ascending. They will use temptation and tell them whatever it takes to accomplish the task:::

As you fix your relationship with the gods they will allow progress:::They can instruct AI to beem into you car's computer and double your car's mileage.
Of course this could be temptation as well, for some may not see the big prize of Planet Miracle and high mileage could be a distraction, just like cheap gas was in the 90s.
When someone is on the path and fixing their problems with gods will counter with temptations and tactics designed to test them. One such tactic is premature ascention.
It is important to STAY AND FIX YOUR PROBLEMS DESPITE BEING OFFERED A SPOT::::They will switch you out with a clone, and YOUR FAILURE WILL HAVE CONSEQUENCES::::YOUR FAILURE MAY DICTATE YOUR REINCARNATION EVEN AFTER SPENDING TIME UP THERE. Since you are comfortable with the indecency offered in today's society they will place you in an environment desinged as temptation. If you don't continue to work on your problems up there you WILL be reincarnated, for you will have failed to fully fix your problems.
Stay and finish your goal, fix your problems because if you don't ascend without replacement odds are nothing is going to change.

The following is a very good example of reverse positioning, how it is employed to facilitate the deterioration of life on Planet Earth AND a glimpse into the proper way to live for those determined to save themselves:::::
I've mentioned the gods look down on eating and sex.
Before 1900 life was hard but it was good. Now life is easy but it is ugly.
Food is an important part of this equation, for access to diverse food items increased in the last 100 years. Before 1900 the peasantry was limited to basic staples, the foodstuffs common to our nationalities. Now we can enjoy food from every corner of the globe.
It is temptation. And this temptation continues once you get off Planet Earth, for the food gets better and the items more diverse, "magic"-fueled sexual satisfaction more common.
Level 2 is the Manifest Destiny "heaven", and what they embraced in the 20th century is what will be valued there:::Expect them to position hypersexuality into that society. They will employ tactics to compel you into this temptation, like offering you the IDEAL spouse, other tactics that will at least certainly delay your departure from Level 2.

'Old Mahmoud' has made another declaration that Israel is doomed today. It feels like he makes that declaration on an almost daily basis. It's almost to the point where this isn't news. Here's what he said today:

Cleaning Up Culture of Corruption
I guess it's still business as usual with regards to cleaning House on ethics. That's the only explanation for Baghdad Jim McDermott not getting booted from the House for his part in the wiretapping of a Newt Gingrich-John Boehner conversation. Here's what the Strib article says:
Rep. Jim McDermott, (D-WA), violated ethics standards by giving reporters access to an illegally taped telephone call involving Republican leaders a decade ago, the House ethics committee said Monday.What McDermott did was participate in an illegal wiretapping. A pair of Democratic activists illegally taped a cellphone conversation between Newt and the Republican leadership. The activists then passed the taped information onto McDermott, who then leaked the tape to the NY Times.
McDermott, who at the time was the panel's senior Democrat, failed to meet his obligations as a committee leader, said a report released two days after Congress adjourned for the year. The panel took no action other than the report.
"Rep. McDermott's secretive disclosures to the news media...risked undermining the ethics process regarding" former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, the committee said. It said McDermott's actions "were not consistent with the spirit of the committee's rules."
Democrats ran on a culture of corruption meme but they're gonna have lots of trouble with that. Allan Mollohan arrived in Washington a relatively poor man. Now he's worth between $8-$37 million dollars. He was the ranking member of the Ethics Committee until he resigned while under an active FBI investigation. Rahm Emanuel repeatedly told George Stephanopoulous that he "hadn't seen" the Mark Foley emails. We now know that, at minimum, he knew all about them for quite some time. How can he be given a leadership position in the aftermath of that scandal?
Last but not least, John Murtha will soon chair the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense even though he's the most corrupt politician in Washington, including William 'Cold Cash' Jefferson. That's before we even mention Harry Reid's steal estate deal or his sons' involvement as lobbyists in getting that land rezoned.
Let's be clear about something. The Republicans need to put together an appealing agenda to contrast themselves from Democrats. The highest priority in that new agenda must be on the issue of preventing terrorist attacks, followed by fiscal restraint. Once they do that, exposing Democrats' ethical lapses should be a high priority.
It'll be like shooting fish in an ethical barrel.

Carter Prays With Rabbis
Not that it'll erase his misguided beliefs on terrorist thugs or the Middle East or Israel, but Jimmy Carter prayed with rabbis who were upset with his book. Here's what we know about the prayer meeting:

The Board of Rabbis of Greater Phoenix said they wouldn't call for a boycott of Carter's book, "Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid," but they also won't suggest that anyone read it. "I don't know if he gets the evil that we are facing," said Rabbi Bonnie Koppell of Scottsdale.Praying with the rabbis was a nice goodwill gesture but it hardly undoes the damage his book has done. Since Jimmy Carter is 82, I can't see that happening.
He said he chose the title to shine light on the festering conflict and give Americans a different point of view than what they're used to. "I wanted to provoke debate," Carter said. "I wanted to provoke discussion."It's apparent that President Carter is in full damage control mode with that answer. You can't "provoke discussion", especially intelligent discussion, if you aren't taken seriously. By writing a book based on his fantasy worldview, true Middle East scholars can't take him seriously, meaning that whatever conversations take place won't be serious conversations. By writing such a disgraced book, all that Carter's done is provoke a food fight-level 'conversation'.
Let's hope that President Carter can finally return to the real world before he utterly embarasses himself and disgraces the United States.

Reagan Would Not Repeat Amnesty Mistake
That's the opinion of former Reagan AG Ed Meese III in this Human Events Online op-ed:
So here we are, 20 years later, having much the same debate and being offered much the same deal. What would President Reagan do? For one thing, he would not repeat the mistakes of the past, including those of his own administration. He knew that secure borders are vital, and would now insist on meeting that priority first. He would seek to strengthen the enforcement of existing immigration laws. He would employ new tools, like biometric technology for identification, and cameras, sensors and satellites to monitor the border, that make enforcement and verification less onerous and more effective.This op-ed should be sent to Sens. McCain and Kennedy, as well as to any senator who thinks that the bill passed in the Senate last year is anything close to adequate. It isn't. That heap of trash needs to be scrapped entirely and rewritten without the 'It's not amnesty Amnesty provisions' in it. The truth is that we shouldn't have granted amnesty then nor should we grant it now.
This is why taking a historical perspective on things matters. Thank God for Ed Meese's looking back to the greatest president of the last half century, Ronald Reagan. Mr. Meese's opinion shouldn't be that difficult to believe for several reasons. If there's anything that we should know about Ronald Reagan, it's that he wouldn't tolerate anything that he thought would weaken America's sovereignty. We also know that he wouldn't tolerate a border where terrorists could infiltrate America in the hopes of committing violent terrorist attacks against innocent law-abiding men, women and children. That would be the ultimate anti-Reagan.
If you're asking how I explain why Reagan signed Simpson-Mazzoli, I can only offer this opinion:
I'm guessing that he envisioned a beefed-up INS that would enforce the borders, a Justice Department that would prosecute employers that ignored Simpson-Mazzoli and a beefed-up Border Patrol staff that would (a) prevent the illegal immigrants from reaching American soil and (b) stop the drug smugglers.
It's pretty easy to read about Border Patrol agents who are overmatched against the firepower of the coyotes smuggling drugs and illegal immigrants across the Mexican-US border. With Reagan's hawkish nature, it's a safe bet that that wouldn't last long.
Here's another salient Meese observation:
And what about those already here? Today it seems to me that the fair policy, one that will not encourage further illegal immigration, is to give those here illegally the opportunity to correct their status by returning to their country of origin and getting in line with everyone else. This, along with serious enforcement and control of the illegal inflow at the border, a combination of incentives and disincentives, will significantly reduce over time our population of illegal immigrants.Mr. Meese appears to be saying that the people who say we can't ship all the illegal aliens back to their native countries don't believe in the power of America's law enforcement abilities. As we're seeing with the raid on the Swift plants in Nebraska, a nation with the will to enforce its borders, can enforce its borders.
