Desperate Dems Bash Bachmann

In a pathetic show of whinyism, Democrats are criticizing Michele Bachmann for bringing in the GOP's biggest guns for fundraisers. Today's focus is on Karl Rove's appearing for a Bachmann fundraiser. Here's a sample of their whining:
"If Michele Bachman thinks taking money from special interest cronies willing to spend $1000 for a picture with Karl Rove is the way to get elected in Minnesota, she is even more out of touch with the values and priorities of Minnesota's working families than anyone realized," said Democratic National Committee spokesman Damien LaVera.
Mr. LaVera would be wise to not bring up special interest cronies when Patty Wetterling makes EMILY's List lists of featured candidates and recommended candidates because of her pro choice views.
"The last thing Minnesotans need is another Bush rubberstamp who is willing to say anything and stand with anyone to buy a ticket to Congress. That is why strong Democratic leaders like Patty Wetterling are offering a new direction for America that puts working families first. Minnesotans who want their representatives in Washington to fight for retirement security for working families, a health care system that works for everyone, and an education system that provides opportunity for all our children should vote for Democrats like Patty Wetterling this November."
Wrong. The last thing we need is a rubberstamp for Nancy Pelosi's radical agenda. The last thing we need is a Representative Wetterling, who's advocated the removal of all American troops by this Thanksgiving.

It's also insulting to say that Michele Bachmann "is willing to say anything and stand with anyone to buy a ticket to Congress." Michele Bachmann is one of the most principled conservatives I've ever met. She's thought the issues through. She's made decisions based on her Christian worldview. And she's stayed steadfast to those ideals.
