Chairman Foot-In-Mouth Strikes Again

Chairman Foot-In-Mouth has struck again, this time in a press release about border security.
"Democrats have consistently fought for immigration reform that strengthens our borders, protects U.S. workers and their wages, reunites families and allows hard-working immigrants who pay taxes and obey the law the opportunity to earn the right to apply for the responsibilities of citizenship."
What a lying sack of dog droppings. The Senate bill that Ted Kennedy and John McCain wrote has prohibitions in it that say that government agencies charged with screening immigrants' applications can't share that information with other agencies charged with immigration issues. I don't doubt that that's what Chairman Foot-In-Mouth thinks but I'm 100% certain that that isn't what any American with a brain thinks of as fighting for strengthened borders.

As a sidenote, did Kennedy & McCain have Jamie Gorelick help write that provision into their legislation? I ask because that's what the Gorelick Wall did for fighting terrorism.

Americans should be very afraid that the Senate's bill that Chairman Foot-In-Mouth is touting might be as 'productive' as Gorelick's Wall. Very afraid indeed.
