Villifying America's Mayor

Rudy Giuliani must scare Democrats. Alot. If he didn't, why would there be a new 'documentary' out to criticize him? Here's what the film's director said about Giuliani:
"It is always a mixed message with Rudy," said Kevin Keating, 61, a veteran cameraman who is making his directorial debut with "Giuliani Time." "But I don't think he is going to be remembered as a great mayor."
Aren't you thankful that the director isn't biased? If you're looking for an objective-minded director and you want to hire Mr. Keating, just look for the director with the hatchet in his hand.

As for his opinion that he doesn't think Giuliani won't be remembered as a great mayor, he's telling America that Democrats are planning on rewriting Giuliani's story. That revisionist history can't happen without first ignoring how Rudy's policies on crime cleaned up the streets in his first year in office. That revisionist history can't happen unless Mr. Keating downplays the importance of Rudy's role in 9/11's aftermath.

The bad part for Mr. Keating is that peoples' memories are longer and better than that. They'll remember how Giuliani responded in 9/11's aftermath. They'll remember his crimefighting policies that restored order and luster to the city.

That isn't to say that there weren't blemishes on Giuliani's watch but not enough to tarnish his image.
