Klobuchar Accuses Mark Kennedy of...
Following MNGOP Chairman Ron Carey's State Capitol news conference, the Klobuchar campaign fired back, accusing Mark Kennedy of accepting 'special interest' campaign contributions from....business groups.
I'm also going to check into seeing how much money trial attorneys have contributed to Klobuchar's campaign. In her definition, anyone that contributes to Kennedy's campaign is an evil special interest group, while anyone who contributes to her campaign is a civic-minded concerned citizen.
I suspect that alot of the "business groups" Klobuchar's campaign cites are 'revolutionary' organizations like the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB), the National Chamber of Commerce and other similar groups.
If Ms. Klobuchar thinks that that's supposed to be a black mark against Mark Kennedy, then that shows what she thinks about business groups and pro-free market politics.
Either way, it isn't a pretty sight for Ms. Klobuchar.

Her campaign Wednesday pointed to Federal Election Commission figures reported by the Center for Responsive Politics to argue that Kennedy is more beholden to special interests. Some of the reports showed that Kennedy raised nearly $1.4 million from political action committees for the 2006 race, compared with $226,000 for Klobuchar. Nearly 75 percent of Kennedy's PAC contributions came from business groups, compared with about 10 percent of Klobuchar's.This is further proof that Amy Klobuchar is anti-business. That she'd consider Kennedy getting business groups' support in this race as a negative for Kennedy tells you just how out-of-touch she is. If I were the Kennedy campaign, I'd tout the fact that businessmen favor Kennedy over Klobuchar.
