Introducing Tara Westby
I just returned from the Benton County Fair, where I got the terrific news that
Tara Westby
was running for the Minnesota House seat in District 15B. There's an abundance of reasons why that's terrific news.
Most importantly, Tara is an enthusiastic can do type person with a good command of the issues. Another reason why that's good news is because Tara is running to represent me in St. Paul. I can't wait to see her get inaugurated. That'd be about as good of news as I could get on the state legislature level, although seeing Jeff Johnson elected as my State Senator would be as good of news as seeing Tara elected.
I had the privilege of chatting with Tara after the St. Cloud Victory Office Grand Opening. I was impressed with her attitude, with her record of hard work in past GOTV campaigns and with the fact that Jeff Johnson and Michele Bachmann have had some influence on her beliefs. In my book, you can't do better than that.
Come down to the Benton County Fair Saturday and meet this energetic, intelligent young lady. I'll bet that you'll come away as impressed with her as I've been.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but she's not that quick a person. Working with her last year in Student Government, she was prone to making stupid, embarrassing mistakes.

Kallisti, You need to be more specific if you're gonna make that type of accusation. I'm basing my opinion on the conversation I had with Tara Westby.

It's clear the Haws camp will try to portray her as a young and dumb bimbo. Disgusting.
